BWV balcony views

Ok so I’m on calendar with DVC Rental Store to schedule at 11 months out in a couple weeks for a BWV studio. Trying to decide on a view- boardwalk or standard? Is the pool view considered a standard? Either of these is fine with me, I just want something a little bit special.
*also I’m aware renting standard may not even be an option since they go so quick.

There are 3 booking categories. SV, BW view, and pool/garden view.

The BW view and the pool view are the same points. SV is cheaper but isn’t much in terms of view,, driveway, parking lots, etc.

I’d try for BW view if you want special.

thank you! I can’t recall seeing pool view as a bookable option on the rental sites so I wasn’t sure. I’ll see what they come up with. Thanks for the info!

Most rental sites will list “preferred view” for BWV, which could be a boardwalk view or a pool/garden view. My guess is that they don’t make a distinction because they cost the same number of points. But as far as DVC members are concerned, they are two distinct booking categories and if you want a boardwalk view (which are limited in number), you should make the rental agency aware that this is what you want.
