This will be our first trip home and I am curious about the different types of balconies available. I've heard that some are solid walls and don't allow for much of a view for little guys. I know that when we walked on the Boardwalk last time we visited, this wasn't the case of all the balconies. Are there certain sections or certain floors that we should look out for?

There are different types of balconies. Not all have the solid walls but have slats that the little guys can see through. Depending on what room type you have also has an impact. Some balconies are seperate and some are ajoining. I am not sure why the differences, maybe because of the designs of the different sections of buildings. I guess you can request balcony type when making a reservation.

One of the good things about an enclosed balcony is you can still sit out in the rain. Our trip before last at BWV we had alot of rain. Fortunately, our room was across from the bus stop with an enclosed balcony, we could still sit out and watch llluminations.
