Just back from an 7 night stay at BWV, BW view, Room 4041. This was our first stay in a 1 bedroom, WOW! This sure changes the way you vacation.

We absolutely loved all the room, the kitchen and the washer/dryer.

We will likely not choose a BW view again. The views were awesome, and I loved sitting out and enjoying the balcony. But, every night a performer performed right below us (at least 3x per night) and it was really loud.

All in all, a great, great vacation. Tried new restaurants, the boys went on a pirate cruise, we played miniature golf.

Any questions, I would be happy to answer.

Glad you enjoy your vacation and once you stay in the one bedroom or larger it is very hard to go back to anything smaller.

I hope the performers were pretty good. :goodvibes

That was my feeling about the entire BWV. Too noisy, just too much going on for our family to relax. We stayed there once and won't be back.

We had that room in December! I thought it was the best 1 bedroom we've ever had. Wasn't too far from the elevator, had a great view! We didn't notice the noise.

Which pirate cruise did your boys do? I have my kids booked for the Albatross cruise from the Beach Club. What age are your kids? Did they enjoy it. I'm a bit concerned my daughter is too old (she's 10.) Also I've read in TR in the past that there was a Photopass Photographer on some of these cruises. Are they still doing that? I just want to know all I can about the cruise. Thanks!

I have 2 boys ages almost 10 and 7. They had a great time on the Albatross cruise. There was not a Photopass photographer, which would have been pretty cool.

We dropped them off at the marina and watched them board the boat. They went over by the Hollywood Studios, then to the Boardwalk dock where they disembarked and found a piece of pirate map by the clown pool. They also got off the boat at Canada in Epcot for a another piece of map. When we met them back at the marina they each got a little tote with "treasure."

When they are coming back to the marina a little boat with a pirate circles the pontoon boat and the kids all yell to it. Honestly, all of the kids looked like they had a great time except a couple of boys who were probably about 12.

Thanks so much for the info! It sounds like my DD10 will be just fine and I know my 2 boys (8 & 5) will love it!
