How likely am I to get a two bedroom standard at Boardwalk for Sept 30-Oct 6 if I call exactly 7 months before? Is there a considerable number of standard rooms??

Standard view units make up approximately 20% of the total available at the BWV.

The best chance of getting what you want means calling day by day at the 7 month mark as soon as MS opens for the day. You will probably have to use the waitlist for some or all of your days. IIRC, that is the beginning of the Food & Wine Festival and the EPCOT resorts are very popular at that time.

BWV owners usually book the standard view rooms at the 11 month window (as they do the guaranteed Boardwalk view units, which also make up 20% of the total).

It's not impossible to get a SV for your dates at the 7 month mark, but it's not probable either. Best to plan on a PV -Pool/Garden unit if your heart is set on the BWV and you have to use the 7 month window.

Just to add to Carol's comment. That is also the time leading up to and including Columbus Day weekend which is pretty busy between the F&W Festival and MNSSHP. A lot of people (myself included) already have plans made for that weekend. But the bright side is that we like to stay at the BCV at that time of year so our 2BR SV may become available for some of your nights if we switch. Follow Carol's advice.
