DH and I are staying in a BWV 2-bedroom (Preferred) for the first time in May. We are bringing a few family members along, and we really want to impress them! No one understands why we keep going to WDW year after year. Now's our chance to show them why!

DH and I have stayed in a BWV studio with a view of Luna Park Pool. We enjoyed this view. I don't think I would want a view of the boardwalk...I'm concerned about the noise. Can anyone recommend a view, or a particular room number for a 2-bedroom?

BTW, we have a lock-off reserved. I thought it would be better to give our guests their own entranceway. But now I'm rethinking my decision because I am concerned about the pull-out couch comfort factor. Should I get a dedicated 2-bedroom instead?

BWV does not have dedicated 2 BR units nor does it have rooms with 2 regular beds in the studio/second BR. All 2 BR are lockoff's there. You'd have to go to a different resort to get that arrangement.

Boardwalk view is by far the best view; noise is not really a problem. Thus, you should consider trying to get it. By then, Luna park area outside refurbishment should be done and thus you could go for a Luna Park view, possibly higher floor, but you want to avoid rooms that are directly over the carousel shaped bar (that carousel is quite high and blocks views of rooms behind it). Though the views from the "canal" view rooms are quite good, the problem you face is that in May most of those will still be out of service as they are redoing the outsides. The other view is the Quiet Pool; those are OK but nothing that great (they are also the furthest from the elevators). Also, confirming above, there are no dedicated 2BR's at BWV; all have the pull-out couch as the second bed in the studio/bedroom; in fact all the studio rooms have the bed and couch arrangement.

We just returned from our first trip home and were at BWV for a week. We loved it. Our villa overlooked the quiet pool and it was just great. It was very quiet and every night we had a beautiful sunset to see. But I do agree it is a haul to the elevators from that side.

We just returned from a trip with 2 bedroom at BWV. I was initially upset that we did not get a boardwalk view. But, we were in 5087 and 5089, and my son was in the studio portion of the 2 bedroom. He could lie in his bed and watch the tower of terror! He loved it. We were not in the room enough to matter one way or the other. It did teach me a lesson. Do not pay the extra points for a preferred view at BWV since you can not be guaranteed at BW view.
