Thank you. Isn't it strange that during refurb they add a Murphy bed and now you can suddenly have 5 but not before in the very same room!

Only the studios that have the murphy bed will allow 5 of any age. All the rest are 4 plus an infant.

Yes it is. But it makes even less sense that they provide enough beds in a studio for 5, but not an additional bed in all the one bedrooms. I hate having to drag the aero bed along, and points for a two bedroom is not always in the plan. First world problems...

I was saying to my wife I could not get my head around that some studios hold 5 and 1 bed only 4 ... That is crazy town... Bringing a bed is ridiculous!

Those studios and 1BRs were not originally designed to hold an extra bed. The layout of the studio allowed them to shoe horn in a murphy bed, the layout of the 1BRs at BWV and VWL would have required ripping out half of the kitchen to do the same. So it makes perfect sense if you look at the floor plans.

And not all 2BR's at BCV could hold 2 queen beds either, or so we were told. And they are getting more into ripping out in the refurbs. I'm thinking that it's only about what DVC is motivated to do vs what we think they are limited to. It could be another good bump for SSR if when it's time for that refurb that they get sleeping spaces for 5 there. I say something could be done and it's too concentrated on the thought of the murphy bed vs a different solution.
