Hey everyone, I'm sure this has been asked 100 times before but I couldn't find anything with a search. What are your opinions of Best Western Park Place Inn vs. Park Vue? We stayed at the Park Vue in 2002 and thought it was nothing special, but a decent room and invaluably close to DLR. I've heard that it's gone through a remodeling. Is this true?

Also, how does BWPPI compare to the Camelot? We stayed there in February and I thought it was a good room and close enough to the park. Does the half-star make a big difference? (Camelot is 3 stars, BWPPI is 2 1/2)

Thanks is advance for your insights! We're going in October! :dancer:

I think I'd rather stay at the BWPPI.

Only three more months!!! :yay:

Depends what you are looking for. Are you looking for something special?:wizard:

What is important to you? If location is important, stick with Parkvue or try the BWPPI for a change. (sounds like you want to try something new;) ) I don't think "stars" are a reason to change too much unless there are specific amenities you are looking for. Judging by most of the reviews here, I don't think you can go too wrong with either choice!:cool2:

Room wise, our room at the BWPPI was nicer than the one we had a couple of years ago at the Camelot (although they have since gone through a rennovation ). The Camelot has a nicer pool area in that its up on the fourth floor and a bit more open (and a great spot for the fireworks) versus the BWPPI's which is in somewhat of a courtyard type thing, and is tiny. Location wise, the BWPPI is about 1-2 minutes closer to the gates of the parks. They are both about the same really. I haven't stayed at the Park Vue, but did stay at the BWPPI a month ago and liked it fine.

I am mystified as to why the Camelot got the extra half star! If I was going to give one a bit more in the star department, it would be the BWPPI.
