BWPPI on-the-go breakfast

I was just wondering if anyone can tell me what foods they are giving out while the breakfast room is being remodeled? Thanks!

Just stayed there this past weekend....breakfast was sub-par in my opinion. I missed the usual buffet they offer.

They had: apples, oranges, Quaker chewy granola bars, mini blueberry muffins, cartons of orange juice, milk, coffee and the option of a egg/sausage breakfast sandwich. The sandwich was in a plastic bag and they would microwave it for you if you wanted...like what you can get at gas stations or convenience stores. I ended up grabbing some items for snacks later, but went and bought a real breakfast.

I remember reading that the breakfast area remodel was supposed to go from 8/24/15 to 10/31/15. So, as long as things progress on schedule, the regular breakfast buffet area should be back open in November. In a response to a Travelocity review, someone at the hotel said they would start the room re-models at the start of next year.

They have started the renovations...began on August 24th. The upstairs buffet area is completely gutted right now (our room was on the 3rd floor facing the restaurant, and we could see in the windows).

No waffles, hot eggs, meats, yogurt, etc....pretty much the breakfast they normally serve was NOT what's currently offered.

When I went there at the start of this year they were remodeling the lobby and rooms, perhaps? I don't know... Tripadvisor doesn't have any new pictures of the new rooms.

The room we stayed in looked the same as they always have...I don't think they've remodeled the rooms yet...just the breakfast area above Captain Kidd's so far...

They are only remodeling the breakfast buffet area upstairs that serves the BWPPI guests. Thus far, they are not remodeling the actual Captain Kidd's downstairs, though I don't honestly know if there are plans to in the future...

Thanks for your reply. I am staying there next month, so I will just eat breakfast in DLR. It's a good reason to eat more Mickey waffles.

I read the trip advisor page about this place and yeah I don't even want to go there too after looking at the pictures on that site. I saved my family the trouble by not going there. How can they fail at making good food? They had one job!
