Hi everyone,
Im looking to book my next trip between the boardwalk inn and beach club, both non dvc rooms. Which would you prefer?

Bet you get 50-50 split on this one!! For us, we've stayed at both, and we're definitely in the Beach Club camp. Our few experiences with BW had issues with noise and a problem with our room - probably slants our opinion! But Beach Club is one of our favorites. Both have great locations - BC a bit closer to EP, BW a bit closer to HS. If you'll be spending time at the pool, Stormalong Bay is remarkable for BC guests. Have a great trip!

@skim529 what time of year are you thinking about and remember that Stormalong Bay feature pool at YC / BC is closing in Jan. 2055 - May 2025?

Both resorts have rooms that have be refurbished this year. BC just finished their guest rooms this month.

Im looking to go in October of this year. Does BC have new finished rooms as well?

I like both resorts for different reasons. Not knowing your goals for the trip or what else you are planning to do, I think I lean slightly toward BC. But I say that knowing I will be at BWI on Friday, lol. So clearly I don't think you can go wrong with either one

Yes they just finished the last guest rooms at BC this month. Good luck finding a room at either for this October it is shaping up to be a very busy month as usual.

I prefer BC - it's closer to the EP and Skyliner entrances and I appreciate the fact that I can access the food options indoors (the QS at YC is also a short walk away and has a nice menu). BWI is lovely, but I do not like the restaurant set-up there - everything is out on the Boardwalk (except for a new coffee shop) and, if it rains, it's a pain to try to get something to eat.

I much preferred Boardwalk. The room was nicer, I preferred the pool, I liked the entertainment on the Boardwalk, and I just liked the feel of it better. My husband & daughter felt the same way. So I would stay there again over BC.

I have stayed at both and prefer BWI. I found BC too chaotic. I also prefer YC to BC. I like the vibe of the BW and the entertainment. The only thing I like better at BC is the ability to get food indoors in bad weather.
