BWI like GF or AKL???

I was wondering if the Boardwalk Inn had rooms all in one building like AKL or, if they are in seperate buildings like GF? We leave Sunday an we are so excited!!

I'm staying there for the first time this July, but it's my understanding that it is all one building, but spread out. Have a great trip!

Boardwalk Inn's rooms are all in one building. Some of the rooms can be far out from the elevator. Ask at check in for a room closer to the elevator if this is a problem. When we have been there, we didn't think that the rooms were AS far out as it is possible to be at AKL. We were at AKL last summer and we were at the very end of the hallway, and it was a hike. We have stayed in a few locations within the Boardwalk and it never seemed quite as far to walk to our room as it did last summer at AKL. (we did love AKL even with the long hike)

Just got home from BWI and thought the resort was very nice. We had a great room by the elevator/ice machine/laundry and it was very quiet.

Actually there is a section of rooms at the BW Inn not connected to the rest of the main building. It overlooks the quiet pool and the Garden Suites. You have to go outside into the garden to get to these rooms.

One end of the building is connected by a covered walkway, the other end of the building opens up to the garden area in front of the Suites.
