Right now I have a AAA rate for the BWI Concierge. Decided to give AAA a call and see what kind of a deal the MYW with dining would be. Sounded pretty good but they asked what view garden or water? We would like an epcot view but not sure what this is considered. I have lurked here for a long time and I know someone has the answer! :earsgirl:

I'm nearly positive that you want to request water and specifically the boardwalk. Here is the e-mail address for the IPO department, WDW.YBBW.Concierge@disney.com. This office is staffed by Alana, Amy, Angie & Lauren. In my opinion, they are the best pre-planners that I've ever worked with. Just drop them an e-mail and introduce yourself. I would also give them your home address so they can send out a pre-planning packet to you. They can probably best recommend what your TA puts on your reservation to increase your chances of an Epcot view. As an FYI, I've read that the BW concierge lounge has a very nice view.

The garden view rooms are of the quiet pool and you can see the high fireworks from Illuminations. The waterview rooms overlook the BW. I have had both views and enjoed them equally. I do like to sit and watch the goings on at night from the balcony and I also like the quiet view. This is my favorite place to stay and as Tammi has stated the IPO cast are the BEST!!!! The cast of the Innkeeper's Club is wonderful and will do whatever they can to make your stay magical. You will not regret staying there.

At night, the Boardwalk itself, along the lake, can get noisy. We had a lovely concierge room right above the Flying Fish a couple years back, and between the music and the laughter and the fun, it made it hard to get to sleep so we could be up and at 'em for early mornings! :Pinkbounc

But: the lounge is lovely, and offers a good view of the Epcot fireworks. And the staff is first rate!

Go and enjoy!

We stay in a deluxe concierge room (they all have Boardwalk views) and have never had a problem with noise, as long as the balcony door is closed. If you have a BW view, you won't be able to see Illuminations; the view from the balcony at the lounge is beautiful though.

Thank you for your answers. I already received my packet from BWI Concierge, I think I' ll just e-mail my requests right now. :goodvibes

We have stayed at the BWI concierge several times now and have had both garden and water view - both are nice! One favorite room was the deluxe room above the bakery as I love to sit on the balcony and people watch. (Don't remember the room # right now..) Last week we had a garden view and it was room 4242. It was real nice since the concierge room was only two doors down - very convenient.
