Has anyone stayed in the Garden Suites with children? We have two, ages 6 and 10, who do NOT share a bed well. I'm wondering if a regular concierge room will be better for us, or if we should go for the luxury for DH and I and let the kids camp out in peace on the first floor. Any input on the garden suites will be appreciated! Thanks!

Have you considered YC/BC, Poly or CR. These resorts have 2 queen beds and a daybed. That way the kids would each have their own bed and the concierge level at YC and the Poly were very nice (we have not stayed conciege at BC or CR).

the thing about the garden suites (from what i understand) is that theyre like a studio loft, the upstiars and downstairs are connected (open air) so you wont be getting much privacy. id go for the concierge room deluxe. they come with two spacious queen beds, and a day bed plus a lot of extra room so the room doesnt feel stuffy.

if you have plans on staying at the boardwalk, then stay at the boardwalk. to this day its my favorite resort and its just amazing! :3dglasses

If concierge is a must for you I'd go with the garden suite and bring an aero bed. The only thing I don't like about the garden suites is the distance from the lounge. I would get a 2 bedroom villa you would have more room than with a garden suite.

I would vote for a concierge deluxe room at BWI, that way you have three beds, where as in the Garden Suites there are only two. :flower:

I would do the deluxe concierge room. The rooms are larger and they have 2 queen beds and queen sleep sofa. I stayed in one in October and it was so nice having the extra room.

We are set on BWI. After much research, it seems to be the best fit for all of us. It's just this last glitch! I will look at the deluxe concierge. Are they close to the lounge? That was a bit of a concern from the suite.

Ahhhhhh! is just how I feel right now! But in a "I can't wait" sort of way. I think we'll love the BWI. Thanks for your encouragement!

If your kids don't want to share a bed then you will do well to reserve a Deluxe Concierge Room. We stayed in #4229 in April and it was AWESOME and right near the lounge. PERFECT! Some Deluxe CL rooms are on the 3d, some on the 4th. The lounge is on the 4th so request 4th floor room.
You will LOVE BWI CL!!

I love the garden suites but wouldn't do it with kids. There is a king upstairs and it is open to the bottom floor. Downstairs there is a sofa that pulls out to a queen bed so the kids would need to share or like someone else posted, bring an aerobed. Also the jacuzzi tub is open to the room, it's not inclosed like the shower/toilet.

Thanks for the info. With no enclousure, I guess it would be a family swim in the jacuzzi! This is making my decision easier! I'll have to plan a trip alone with my DH for the suite! :)

I think the Garden Suites are more intended for honeymooners/adults on a romantic getaway... that's why the design is pretty different from other suites.

I agree. Plus, the lounge will be much easier to get to.
