I assume those are rarely ever available at 7 months. Is it a separate category or is it just a requested area within the preferred view?

BWV has 3 views. standard front of resort, BWpreferred (pool or garden) and BWview. It will be listed on your conformation sheet what you booked.

It is a separate booking category, so guaranteed if available when you book. At very busy times like early or late December, your odds at 7 months are poor. But at slower times you could well get one. Good luck! We are not park commandos and so enjoy the balcony when at WDW. We always book BW view for that reason and just love it. Hope you do also!

We booked 1 night studio, Boardwalk View 2 mths ago for our May trip. We wanted to add on to our AKV reservation or a standard view at BWV's but they only had BW view available so we took it. Your chances might be good!!
