Hey all! DH checked in a day ahead of me (b/c of work schedules) and he got assigned a ground level 2 BDRM villa WAYYYYYY at the end of that ground level long hallway.

He says they don't have a balcony but have a patio. I've never seen one of these before. Does anyone have any pics?

They are where the former sales center models were. One of the reasons I always request top floor is I don't want to get one of those. I imagine it would be noisy right on the boardwalk at night, especially with Jellyrolls right next door. I'll look through my pictures to see if I have anything.

Jellyrolls is the blue & white striped building with the red awning. The room would be right next to that in the Crest O' the Wave section, on the boardwalk level.

Cool. That's not so bad! DH thinks there's two more rooms b/t our villa and JR's. So maybe the noise won't be so bad.....

That's exactly where we are! That's hilarious!!! Hope you left it clean! ;)

we stayed in that room last june.. it was alright... I was sort of mad that I spent all those extra points on a ground level view. but actually it was better then we though.. there was no one around to bug us or noise to be heard. you would think that you would hear jelly rolls but you dont hear a peep! we used the back exit door alot.. it was a lot easier then going all the way around. you will enjoy it... have fun.. we are akl right now and 2 doors away from the lobby. how lucky is that!!! Plus we were at bc the last 3 days and we were 3 doors from the elevator.. the luck is in our favor this trip! EXECPT THE WEATHER BEING
SO COLD

Just back from our stay in 1003 and 1005!!!! Yes, it was a bit noisy. Especially the first night. I can sleep through about anything but DH said that there were drunkies outside Jellyroll's on multiple occasions.

Is it better than sleeping at home? You bet!!!!

And we DID use that back door and the S/D boat dock more often than the BW one. It also provided great viewing for our friends who were running the marathon. We went out the back door and there they were!!

And I'd HEARD about the long hallways at BW! But oh my goodness!!!! That was quite a labryinth!!!!

hhmm. I thought all the boardwalk views were on floor 2 or above... there are ground level,(patios) boardwalk views?

Most certainly! Here's three pics: two of the BW view from our patios and one of the outside of our room. We're the 3rd, 4th, and 5th windows from the right in that green section; room numbers 1003 and 1005.

They are rooms converted from the old sales center, about 4 or 5 years ago. 3 or 4 rooms.
