BW view from BCV?????

Hi there:
Started make my ressies for next June at BCV. We will be staying in a studio. Last August we had an Epcot view and it was neat to see the fireworks from the balcony if we happened to be in the room. When I made the ressie today I requested- top floor, Epcot view and was told that they no longer take requests for Epcot view because SOARIN' pretty much has eliminated the Epcot view. I told DH and he said it would be nice to have a view of the Boardwalk area. Does such a view exist?? I know that someone here will be able to shed some light on this. I'm really not sure if the villas even have rooms facing the boardwalk. This will only be our 2nd trip home.

Sorry but the BCV doesn't have any rooms that face the Boardwalk. The BC Hotel is between the villas and the Boardwalk area.

you need to stay at BWV to get the BW view.

It is nice.

However most of the BW views are gone by the 7th month.

but you may find a BW owner to trade their points for your points.

I had the same thing happen to me from the last time we stayed. We had room 551 (2BR-perfect view of fireworks), Epcot view last time. This time, they told me Epcot view was changed to "garden view" I think. We were still on the same side, room 241 (2BR). We could see some of World Showcase, but couldn't see the fireworks. This was from July 10-15th. There is no Boardwalk view because the Beach Club is in front of the villas facing the Boardwalk. It wouldn't matter to me, really, where we stayed at BCV, except I don't think I would want any ground floor rooms (too many lizards, bugs, and we saw a snake this trip!). Good luck!

Thanks for the info. I thought that the hotel part was what faced the boardwalk, but I just thought I would ask before I finished my ressie on Monday, so I could change the request accordingly. We have stayed at BC and OKW and plan to stay at VB at the end of our trip next year after the cruise. I don't know that I would enjoy staying at BWV. I like to look across the water and see all the lights and activity, but I'm not sure that I would like being right there.
