BW Raffles & Toy Story Lot

Does anyone know if you can still walk from the Best Western Raffles to the Toy Story Lot and catch the shuttle bus there to the parks? Or would we be better off buying ART tickets or something else?

I used it when I stayed at the Red Lion 2 weeks ago and it worked great.

We stayed at the Red Lion a couple months ago and it worked great, they didn't question us at all. I had asked on a visit in July if we could do that and we were told yes, it wasn't an issue at all, especially since I had an PAP and would get free parking, the CM said if we wanted to walk over it would be just fine.

Is it the same distance to the Toy Story parking lot from the Doubletree? Is it a well lit/safe area during late night(park closing) during the summer months?

I don't know how far it would be from the Doubletree, I'm not sure where that hotel is because I've never stayed there. But it felt safe to us at night as we walked back to the Red Lion. There were others and the streets are wide, busy and well lit.
