We are headed to BW for the first time on Sunday! Couple of questions regarding Luna Park Pool... Do they require lifevests for little ones or can my daughter use arm floaties (she is 3 1/2)? Also, can she go down the slide with Daddy or will they not allow that? They wouldn't allow it at Vero - but would let you wait at the bottom for your child while the other parent sent them down. But, I'm not comfortable doing that since she can't swim at all yet.

I don't recommend sending a child that small down the water slide by themselves. I have seen parents help their children down the slide but not together. I think that it is the same policy that VB has.

My daughter just turned 3 and has been wearing swimmies in the DVC pools since she was two...they work great!!

The sign at Luna Park says that only strong swimmers are allowed to use the slide, but they don't "test" anyone and they definitely allow swimmies on the slide. However, you cannot go down the slide together -- the lifeguard spaces everyone out.

You can get a lifevest at the community center, located at the "Quite Pool" to use for your stay. We get them for our three girls (7,7,and 4) while we're at BW. While we were there in February, they had CM's organizing races with "noodles" for the kids. They had a blast participating in those.

My 4 year old was intimidated by the slide, but had a ball with the races and "showering" with Mrs. Jumbo in the kiddie pool.

Have a great trip!
