BW parking now restricted?

I read on another board that as of June BW has a sign up stating that parking there for Epcot and MGM is prohibited. If this is true it's great news IMO. There has been too much abuse of the parking system at the Resorts.

Any other details? Do they hand out 3 hour passes like at the Contemporary?

Yes, just back on Thursday, and the sign you mentioned was there. We used valet parking, and there was no time limit. We were staying at OKW. Never even asked if we were dining, shopping or going to Epcot.

I am so glad that they put that sign up! I had spoken to a representative at BWV when the sign went up and he was happy to report that the guard said people were turning around and not even trying to park at the BW. I realize that some people will lie and continue to park there, but at least now people who are paying to stay at the BW will have a choice of self-parking or valet. Good job DVC

So, do we need a sign that says the pool is for resort guests and point staying DVC pool hopping members only?

Too much chlorine in their eyes....they can't read those signs.

Hey, after all, those Non-BWV (or BW) guests AREN'T going to Epcot or MGM when they jump into that BW pool. So they probably figure that's OK.

Hopefully eventually we will see some meaningful signs by the pools stating resort guests only. (How they'd phrase it for legitimate DVC pool hopping is another question).

Meanwhile, as to the new parking sign posted.....YEAH !
