Does anyone know if the BW Inn has rollaway beds available? We had a rollaway at the All-Stars, so I'm wondering if the BWI would have them as well. That child size daybed won't cut it. ;)

Thanks!

It's the BWV that have the child-sized daybed. I believe the daybeds on the Inn side are the same size (twin) as those in the other deluxe hotels.

Sorry, don't know about rollaways at the BWI. The BWV do not offer them.

edited to add:

Guess I posted too soon. Looked at the floor plans and saw that the standard rooms in the BWI do have a child bed. The deluxe rooms have two queens and a queen sleeper sofa.

I would assume the child beds are very similar to (if not the same as), the daybeds in the BWV studio plus units. Those are about 4 ft long and 2 1/2 feet wide, only suitable as a bed for a small child. We used it to hold our souvenirs as it wasn't even all that comfortable to sit on.

Still don't know the answer about the rollaways, though. Hope someone else knows and posts for you.

CaliforniaDreaming, have you considered placing a call to the Front Desk at the BWI and asking that question? They would give you the definitive answer. Or maybe you could post it over on the DVC board (they have a lot of knowledge about both the BWV and BWI). What time-frame are you considering for your next WDW vacation?

Janet, I'm still trying to figure out where to stay for 2 nights in January before staying at VWL. I think the resorts I've narrowed down to are AKL, BWI, GF, and YC. Of the 4, we've only stayed at the GF. I can't decide if we should go back to the GF or try a new resort. At BWI or AKL, we'll probably need a rollaway (does AKL have them?). AKL I'd probably book a deluxe savanna or concierge, so we might still end up with two queens (the deluxe savanna they can guarantee the queen/bunk/daybed based on availability, though).

The day beds at the BW Inn are the same as the ones at the YC/BC. Not as large as the ones at the Polynesian or Contemporary and certainly not as comfortable.

We've stayed at the BWI several times now and once or twice there was not a daybed in the room. I'd definitely request a room with the daybed if you will be needing one.
