Hello ladies! We're adding a private reception after the wedding if we can work everything out. We were offered Salon 3 at the Boardwalk Convention Center. Does anyone have any pics of this room? Also do they provide the size tables we want and the chairs too. I thought I read in Passporters that basic linens are provided for the tables. I know the chair covers are extra. Are we allowed to bring in outside decor for this area? Sorry for the questions! We are excited about adding this on. We didn't think we would be able to do anything.

Hi! We are having our reception at the BW Convention Center! I think "Salon 3" refers to you having the 3rd section reserved. It is a large room that is able to be made into smaller rooms using those walls that slide from the main wall (does that make sense?) :confused3 I did visit it and have a few pictures, but I don't post very often and I'm not sure how to post pictures! If you can tell me how, I can try and post some for you. In my opinion, it's very pretty. They call it a "Convention Center", but it's really just one of their ballrooms. Also, if all else fails, you can always email your coordinator/planner and ask them to send you a few pics. That's how I saw a few as well. Let me know if I can help in any other way! :yay:

That's the way I thought the rooms would be. She sent us some pics of another room and said they were similar. I just didn't know how similar. I think it's all a pretty consistent look for all the rooms..? :confused3 You're explanation of the doors was fine! I think they're called pocket doors, or partition doors??

I'm assuming you have your menu set? She sent us 4 brunch menus. We didn't like any of those as the set menus they were. We sent a revised menu with different items from all 4 of the ones she sent us. I'm assuming that's how it works? :confused3

BTW you just upload your pics onto Photobucket. Each pic will have a code, you just copy and paste that into your comment window. Hope that helps!
 

You can put together any menu you can think of! Even if you want a favorite food from home/your childhood they can recreate that. Don't feel like you have to use their menus at all!

They were starting to set the room up for an event. That's why it has a few random things and the screen. As far as the menu, no we don't have ours set up. Our wedding isn't until June of next yet, so we pretty much just have the location right now. I did look at all the info. I emailed my coordinator and asked him a similar question. He said they can pretty much make whatever, but the price of the meal per person would then change. He said that I could go through and email him with specific foods and he could talk to the chef to see how much things would cost. So what you did would be fine, it just may change price around a bit. Hope that helps! :woohoo:
