BW Bus Transportation

How is the bus transportation for BW particulary in August. Do they share with other resorts if so who gets picked up first???

I can't help you in August, but we stayed at the Boardwalk in March. Then we shared the bus with Beach Club, Swan and Dolphin. But it was off season, as the buses never got full. We only used the bus for the Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. We walked to MGM and Epcot. But they also offer boat service to those two parks.

We have experienced the BW bus transpo in other months, and route sharing/splitting seems to depend on anything from time of day to the position of Pluto (planet, not the dog) in the night sky. Really, we have yet to figure it out. We've ridden busses by oursselves when the route is split, and other times had to wait for to get on the third one that shows, b/c they are so packed full, when all 5 resorts are sharing.
Have not found a rhyme or reason to it yet.

Having ridden the bus at various months and crowd levels I also agree that there isn't any rhyme or reason....

Last June the Boardwalk shared with the Swan and Dolphin. We were always to first stop coming back, but I'm not sure if we were first stop leaving the Boardwalk area....kind of think so but am not 100% sure.
Since you can walk or boat to both Epcot and the Disney Studios from the Boardwalk the only buses needed are for the AK, MK and DTD, along with the water parks.

We were there in June also, and were the 1st on. I dislike the buses very much and always rented a car before ME. But with ME it seems like such a waste. I keep hoping they start charging for it so it is economical to rent a car again.

Usually, the bus has picked us up first, then S/D. Then, BW would be first off the bus. During the slower parts of the day, the bus sometimes stopped at YC/BC, but I think that only happened once or twice the last time I was there.
