This is the first thread I have attempted, so please bear with me!

I am days away from booking Buzz's Lounge, a 3 bedroom townhouse, through floridasunvacationhomes. I have read very good things about this management company on these boards, so I feel pretty confident dealing with them. However, I was hoping that I might be lucky enough to find someone out there who might have personal experience or knowledge of this particular townhouse.

Thanks in advance!

I stayed in this house in May. I loved Windsor Hills. Great proximity to the parks. I liked the house. It worked well for us. We had 4 adults and 2 kids. Plenty of room to spread out. Kids loved the splash pool. Not any kid dishes at the house, plastic cups, plates, etc. I was a little surprised that there was nothing at the house, like paper plates, tissues, etc. Nothing! You must bring or buy any necessities except for maybe 1 large garbage bag, 1 dishwasher tab and a small container of dish soap. I've stayed in numerous houses and usually people leave stuff, sugar, salt, pepper, those kinds of things but there was nothing left in this house. I have stayed in numerous beach houses in Delaware, Maryland, & North Carolina and there is always stuff left. I think maybe there is some law in Fla or something. Anyway, loved the washer/dryer. One annoying thing was the alarm system set up on the sliding doors to the pool. It alarmed every time someone opened the door. I know its a great safety feature, but it was LOUD and by the end of the week, very annoying. It was maybe a 5 minute walk to the pool. Let meknow if you have any more specific questions.

State law in Florida nothing open is to be left in a home. Not always followed I am sure. Varies from home to home.

Again the annoying alarm in Florida is is a law there has to be something to watch over the pool could be a fence, alarm or both.

Trust me with little ones it is a blessing for distracted parents.

I actually liked having the annoying alarm. We stayed in a 6 br WH home with 4 kids under 5yrs and knowing that the alarm would sound if one of the kids opened the door helped me stay sane. There is a button near the top of the door that you press when you want to open the door. You just press it once and the alarm won't sound when you open the door but if you leave the door open longer than 20 seconds it will sound. The first couple of days someone would always forget to press the button and the alarm would go off but after that we usually remembered. WH homes also have a fence around the pool as well as the alarm. Better safe than sorry.
Some homes we've stayed in have everything stripped out and in others you'll find stuff that others have left. Usually not in the food category but dish liquid or soap powder etc. But there's never enough for you're whole stay so you end up buying some anyway. I usually take a few bounce sheets for the dryer and disherwasher tabs from home cause they're easy to pack when you're flying.

Thanks so much for all of your responses! I have gone ahead booked this townhouse through floridasunvacationhomes. I am traveling with my two small daughters so I actually feel better knowing that there is an alarmed door. Thanks for the heads-up on the household supplies; I will come prepared! I had been wondering what the walk was to the main pool, you must have read my mind. I'm assuming that everything in the town house was clean and secure? Thanks again for all of your responses, they are very much appreciated! I am very new to all of this and am grateful for all of the help that I can get!!!!

Yes, everything was clean and secure. We had no problems. I did forget to tell you that when you rent through Florida Sun, they will set the door lock on the house to let you in exactly at 4pm, not a minute sooner. We came about 5 mins early and couldn't get in the house until exactly 4pm. Just to save you a trip to the house if you arrive early. Otherwise, we had a fantastic time. When you first arrive, go to the clubhouse and get your pool pass card, $6.00 for the whole family for the week. What a bargain. Loved that. You can also pick up a packet which has directions to everything, parks, supermarkets, drugstores, hospital, etc. It was nice to have that packet, but I didn't see it until mid-week. Also, if you are flying, the clubhouse staff will get your boarding passes for you if you are going to the parks on your last day. We had them get ours for SW since we were out and about. Overall, great place to stay. My uncle is also renting a 4 bdrm from them in November this year.
