Hi all, going to DLP on the 4th sep with my 2 year old who is obsessed with toy story.
Was thinking a trip to buzz's pizza planet for a lunch or dinner would be good as little one would love it.
However just had a look at some reviews on a different website and its put me off :sad2:
Is it worth going? Has anyone been there recently???
Thanks x

Oohh thats such a shame, thanks for the link. I think we will avoid going there, hopefully there will be other good value for money places to grab a quick meal from :thumbsup2

Yeah , we were planning on going to Pizza Planet (thinking it would be like it was in the film) , but have heard nothing but bad reviews about it....never mind ,plenty of other decent places to eat !

I was thinking of Pizza Planet too for my upcoming visit with my 5 yr old nephew but have gone with the character lunch at Cowboy Cookout instead.
I have eaten at Cowboy Cookout many times and always found it fine so the addition of Woody and Jess plus a few other characters will be fun!
Also you can ask CM's if you can go into Pizza Planet for a look as long as this won't upset your little one.
We looked at Agrabah Cafe quite a few times (one lovely CM gave us a guided tour :thumbsup2) before eventually deciding to eat there.
Theres also the character tea party at Cowboy Cookout to condider, I think Woody and Jess are there too.

Whoa, hold on there. I was put off by all the negative reviews of Pizza Planet. But I think most of those reviews were before it went to a buffet style.

We went there this year, with great trepidation, for a bite to eat on our last day. DS wanted to go - in the end we thoroughly enjoyed it. DS loved the play area, there were 3 types of pizza on the buffet which were all quite nice, 2 pastas, a salad bar, and some decent sweets. Also unlimited soft drinks - it wasn't bad value we thought, and we left feeling stuffed because it was a buffet. And the themeing isn't as bad as people have made out.

The food isn't exactly cordon bleu - but for what we wanted, a place to chill and eat that wasn't overly expensive on our last day before leaving (especially coming back on the Eurostar, so we would get back to London too late for anything to eat), it was great.

We went to Pizza Planet (Not DLP, but at WDW) and it was a lot of fun. We got some great pictures. That said, the pizza was lousy. *shrug* we had a good time anyway.

It'll be cheaper to book through Disneyland. Travel agents add commission, etc. A few people have said it's cheaper to book the hotel through Disneyland, then eurostar or flights independently.

Hi noodle1988 :wave2:
I am going for a really short visit on 28th August. Because it will be very busy I have booked main meals for each day using the reservation number 0033 1 60 30 40 50.
Here is a link for you to the details for Cowboy Cookout http://www.dlrpmagic.com/planning/dining/restaurant-menus/cowboy-cookout-barbecue/ it is inside btw so not a problem if it rains :thumbsup2
I like to have reservations but occasionally plans have changed during a trip and I've cancelled a reservation in favour of a different time and or restaurant.
If you make a reservation and then prefer the look of Pizza Planet once you get there, it will be fine to change it as long as Pizza Planet can fit you in. I've not been at the beginning of September so no idea how busy restaurants will be for you but buffets usually cope pretty well.
Hope that helps you :goodvibes
