I'm not sure where everyone is getting their info but this is what I found on WDW's official web site:

Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin: Closed for Refurbishment [January 4, 2006 to January 31, 2006]
Country Bear Jamboree: Closed for Refurbishment [January 3, 2006 to January 7, 2006]
Liberty Square Riverboat: Closed for Refurbishment [January 1, 2006 to January 31, 2006]
Splash Mountain®: Closed for Refurbishment [January 23, 2006 to January 27, 2006]

Unless, of course, they dont keep updated info on their site.

Yup, Disney's website breaks the information up onto separate pages.

The only rides scheduled to be closed on January 28 are Test Track and Buzz.

Hey num1tigerfan,

This is my first post on here, although I have been reading these forums for quite some time.

Anyways, I just had to say that I believe they are re-vamping it to be like the DL-CA attraction, which has a hand-held laser blaster. Trust me, this is for the better. My wife an I went on Buzz Lightyear in the Fla park and we stopped shooting less than halfway through the ride cause we did not like the blaster being mounted on the car, we could hardly move the thing. At the CA park, I get a score of over 600,000 easily while at the Fla park, I did not even break 200,000.

Considering how much we loved the ride in CA and now since were moving to Fla, we cant wait for this to be changed.

Just let the little one know that the ride is going to get even better.
