buzz differents to WDW

Has anyone noticed any changes to the buzz lightyear laser blast ride compaired to the 360 one in WDW???

yes its completely different from what i can remember........at WDW theres a bit where you go towards a long black hole.....or something, looks like its supposed to give a bit of an impression of speed......that bit isnt in DLP.

from what i remember the whole entrance and stuff is different aswell.

That's something they left over from the Dreamflight/If You Had Wings attraction. Cant' wait to see what the DLP Buzz is like, though I don't remember enough about the WDW version to probably notice any differences.

I think in DLP when you hit a target the end of the lazer gun flashes so you know you have hit something, i dont remember it doing that in WDW.

The target itself also flashes so you can see what you have hit (or in my case, haven't hit!). It's therefore a lot easier to get a bead on exactly where your gun is pointing unlike at WDW.

However, at DLP you have to keep on pressing the trigger to get the gun to fire, whereas at WDW I believe you can just hold the trigger down and it will constantly fire for you.

Maybe you did a different Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast???

It's shorten than at WDW, but it still gives the same impression!

Sorry i dont agree with that. The WDW section seems a good 20-30ft long, maybe longer.....whereas the one in DLP must only be about 5 ft long..........you cannot even compare it with WDW.

I do prefer the rest of the DLP version though.

Heres a clip of the WDW version from the start of the "black hole" section

Clicky buzz ride

DLP section = 5 seconds long
WDW = 32 seconds long

Also now noticed that there is a huge crab/spider type creature flying about. I dont remember this in DLP.
