buzz at DL?

i thought i read somewhere that there was to be a Buzz ride at DL ... does anybody have any details?

They're building it right now--should open in May.

Though the ride isn't open yet, there is a Buzz Lightyear show in Tomorrowland. You can get pictures with him afterwards too.

The Buzz at DL actually signs his autograph. At WDW he had a stamp that he used. My kids are big autograph hounds and they noticed that right away.

Are there AP previews??? Any idea of when?

Surprised to see this thread... we just were talking yesterday (DH and I) about extending a family wedding trip to NM to include a visit to DL (I've never been there and DH has been there once in high school)... But my DH asked me..."Do they have Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin in DL?" I told him I thought they had some sort of Buzz ride, but not sure what.

So.... no Buzz ride at DL yet, but coming next year? GREAT!! Another thing I can use to talk DH into this trip!!...............P

Too early to know about any AP previews but I am guessing that there will be previews sometime in late April. With the official opening of the ride on 05/05/05.
