I can confirm the order of point values are as follows:
- Triangles
- Diamonds
- Squares
- Circles
When a target is lit it is worth double the points.
There are secret targets on both Zurg's and one of the mouths of the aliens in the final room.
Hitting certain targets in a certain order gives bonus points (For example hit the targets of all of the batteries that fall down and the triangle hidden behind it to recieve additional points).
If someone is paired with you online they can help you earn bonus points (you will not know if this has happened unless you look at your picture after the ride, I forget what it says if this is the case).
Moving targets generally score more points than thier stationary counterparts.
Please note that at some point in time, all of the above information was told to you while waiting for the ride to start, ome of it is no longer mentioned, but it still applies. Much of the information was given during the soft openings (I got to ride it the first night it was open to the public)
There are four black diamonds in the tunnel, by hitting all four (in any order) you get a lot of bonus points, in the final room with the full sized Zurg, if you turn around there are green men with a circle target, if you hit it, a trianlge target will pop up that you can hit numerous times before it goes down and can usually pop it up 3-4 times before being too far away and as it is really close to your vehicle it is very easy to hit.
Now, while I know all of this, I can't seem to get my score over 300,000, as I am not that good of an AIM. One other thing is, even if you can't hit anything, keep firing, after about every 5 tmes of firing you automatically get 100 points or so.
And yes, unlike at WDW if te ride stops you can continue shooting, so start shooting (even at blank space) once the gun is turned on and don't stop shooting until it is turned off.
