I am planning a Universal & Disney Waterparks (because we have 6 non expiring plus options) trip for years from now.

I don't plan to stay onsite.

I have the money saved to pay for the Universal tickets. I'm looking at UT buy 2 days get the third day free. I'm trying to decide if I should buy them now.

These don't expire until after you use the first day...right?

I know the prices will only go up, but is there a better deal they may offer later?

Any other reason I should wait?

Agree to check out expiration dates. As for buying tickets ahead, I did that once for our family. I bought 7 day US/IOA passes for just $99 each. I think it was January of 2010. The adult and child price was the same, so I even did adult for my eldest, despite him being under 10 when I bought them. I used those tickets in November of 2013. (We went to US/IOA before that but just for 1-2 days so I used tickets from credit card points then - back in the day when using credit card points was actually a good deal).

i still have some of those 7 day UO passes from 2003.......
still valid to 2030 as printed on the back of them.

bought the preferred annual pass in 02 and have renewed it yearly.

used one of the 7 day passes 2 years back when one of my sons came with me.
and again a year ago.
it was a great investment that i made as never know when one of my kids will want to go with me.

some of the specials of the buy 2 day pass get a day free do have expiration dates.
op, make sure if you want to buy tickets that will be used 3 years from now, they are open ended.

I can't find anything on the UT site that says if there is an expiration date.

Should I call them?

the only time i have seen those tickets from third party vendors have an expiration date are the buy 2 days get 2 days free tickets.

i've used UT before and the regular tickets i bought did not have any expiration dates.

the specials of 2 + 2 are the ones i am talking about w/expirations

The one I am looking at is 2 + 1 park to park.

Does it normally say on the site that they expire?

i don't know about the 2 + 1.
call UT and ask them if any of the tickets have expiration dates.
