We're planning to spend one day at IOA during our upcoming Disney trip. I'm wondering if it would be easiest to get there before rope drop and buy tickets then. Would we save any $ by getting them ahead of time through DU or AAA? Could we show our AAA card at the onsite ticket booth for a discount?

You can save time and a little bit of money by purchasing the tickets online through Universal and choosing either the print at home or electronic pickup options. Either of those options will keep you out of the ticket lines once you arrive.
