Buying tickets online

So, does anyone know why I can't use gift cards to buy tickets online? I bought $600 in gift cards @ the grocery store (we get free gas when we do that) & tried to buy my tix on line & it says you can't use gift cards online. it would save us $100 to buy online vs @ the gate...don't understand why I can't use them. anyone know?

These gift cards are new and Universal's e-commerce set up probably just doesn't allow for them. I would try calling guest services and see if you can use your gift cards and order the tickets over the phone.

Well just called and they do not take gift cards over the phone or on-line. So much for saving $100 by buying the tickets online. I'll have to take my $600 down and by them at the gate....

if you are buying multi day passes, order them online thru UT.
it's cheaper than at the gate.

You won't be able to use your gift cards there either though. You can use your gift cards to pay for hotels if you are staying onsite.

We have rented a house and are doing 4 days at Disney and 2 at Universal. We'll just have to purchase the tickets at the gate and not save the $20 per ticket for buying online. You live and learn I guess. Thanks for you help tho.
