Just looking for a bit of input. :goodvibes

I am getting ready to purchase our WDW park tickets for our upcoming vacation and I am trying to decided between ordering from Disney directly or saving a few bucks and buying them from CAA.

Have any of you bought your tickets from a CAA office? I have seen them there but they do not look like the tickets Disney sells. Are they vouchers that you need to trade in for a real ticket once you get to Disney? Also if something were to go wrong with the tickets bought at CAA (We go to use them for the first time and they don't work) would I be able to fix that with Disney or would I have to track down a AAA office?

We bought our tickets from CAA this past year. It was the actual ticket that we got. If you are renting a car, check if they'll also give you the parking pass for the AAA diamond lot. Some give them out with the purchase of tickets...ours did. I don't know what happens if the ticket doesn't work as ours were fine. I would assume that since they're actual Disney tickets, Disney will look after you. We made copies of the backs of the tickets as well as our CAA receipt just in case we lost any or there was a problem.

Last I checked CAA was no cheaper than buying direct. The best deal I got was through Undercover Tourist through Mary's mousesaver link in her newsletter. They are Disney tickets you receive and if they don't work head for customer service.:goodvibes

We bought 2 adults/1 child tickets from CAA office (1 month ago). They were cheaper than buying direct and were almost the same price as buying from undercover tourist. They gave us the actual tickets (which look like a credit card) and a diamond parking pass. One additional thing I liked about CAA was that the price was converted from US to CDN at a very reasonable rate before it was charged to my credit card, thus saving us an additional 2-3% credit card conversion charge.

Thanks for the info guys! :goodvibes I may just buy them from CAA as the trip is just under 4 weeks away and I won't have to worry about the tickets getting lost/delayed in the mail.

Hello there!

The above poster is correct. They are an actual credit card type ticket. And, make sure you ask at CAA for the parking voucher when you purchase. If the ticket is for less than 3 days, there is no savings. But, keep in mind, CAA prices include tax where the ones online directly through Disney do not. CAA will also give you a printout with a barcode that can be used at Disney directly to reclaim lost or stolen tickets.
