We are hoping to buy Braves/Yanks tickets this Sat when they go on sell for Mar 13 game. My Dad and Mom are coming to WDW for 1 nite just to see this game. Wondering if anyone can give advice on purchasing these tickets. I know ticketmaster will be selling them this Sat at 10am but does anyone know if WDW will be selling these tickets by phone, anyway else to get these tickets(legally of course).

Since this is my folks only reason to come I really want to make sure to get these tickets. I have heard that the more popular teams sell out faster. Im sure the Yanks are considered a more popular team. Any help or advice would be great!

Not sure by phone - but all i can say we when one year and its was great. We'd never been to a Baseball game before and we really enjoyed it -- have a great time.

I do not think WDW would be selling them, Jimmy, as they really have nothing to do with the ball games. Sounds like a great time for your folks. And great meeting both you and Tammy earlier this month, hope to again next year. Happy New Year.

Jimmy justed checked for you at Disney's Wide World of Sports website and this is what it says.

Individual game tickets will go on sale January 3, 2004 at Disney's Wide World of Sports® Complex Box Office or through Ticketmaster at www.ticketmaster.com or (407) 839-3900.

So it looks like you can get them there - i can't see why you can't pay for them and pick them up the day of the game thats what we did. We bought them online i think and picked them up at the Box office that day it was very easy.

The March 13 game is the YANKEES! This game usually sells-out almost immediately with the exception of some lawn seating. Ticketmaster is the only way I know of to get individual tickets. Do it first thing and good luck.

For the first time that I recall, Disney has been selling season and partial season tickets in advance. These sales have been underway for a few months and also eat into the available tickets for the "hot" games like this one.

Ticketmaster is actually a great site. I ordered concert tickets off of there a couple of months ago. To get the best seats, I would go before it is time for them to go on sale and make sure you know how to fill out all of the things for it to search for tickets. About a min. before they are going to go on sale go to the site and then keep refreshing it every once in a while, and then right on the time they are to open. Sometimes they start a couple of mins. early! We were a little concerned about ordering them off the internet and not directly from the venue. But It was fine! Good Luck! I hope you enjoy the game and get the tickets you want!! :jester:

I agree, Jenn, TM works great, having purchased sport, concert and theater tickets from them in the past. And what Jenn says as for the method is so very correct. Set yourself up an account there also. And yes, Pam, those season sales sure do bite into the seats, we know well here with the Cubs.

Hey thanks everybody for the heads up. I will set that acct. up with TM and have my fingers crossed.
