buying tickets at resort

If we purchase our tickets from the resort, is that considered "advanced" ticket purchase? Are the prices the same as on the disney site?

Also, are the tickets put on your room key? Or is the ticket procedure different w/ magic your way ticket program?

If we purchase the tickets online, do we use a paper ticket or do they put them on your room key when you check in?

It is not an advance purchase at the resorts. It is a gate purchase.

If you purchase it at your resort, you will have then encoded onto your room key.

If we purchase the tickets online, do we use a paper ticket or do they put them on your room key when you check in?

It depends on how you are purchasing them. If you just order them online and give your credit card number, they will be sent to you in the mail shortly after your purchase. These should be the hard plastic cards. If you put them up for will call, you will pay for them when you order but you can pick them up at your resort and have them encoded onto your resort ID.

The resorts have a lot more freedom in putting tickets onto resort ID's than they did prior to the system upgrade in January.
