My husband was at a store in San Diego and saw a gift card kiosk that sold Disneyland tickets. We are going in Aug. and he thought he could be them there. He didn't buy any since there wasn't any adult tickets.

Anyone have experience with doing this?

I have seen those tickets, usually a 3 day park Hopper for kids, one right next to it for adults. I have not bought any since we go longer than 3 days, but I am pretty sure you can buy them and upgrade to 4 or 5 days at the ticket booth if you wanted to. If you are only going for 3 days, I believe you get to use the plastic card as your ticket, which is a nice durable souvenir. All of the other tickets are paper!

yep, I bought our 3 day hoppers at our local Kroger. Just go straight to the gate with them. If you are going to upgrade to 4 or 5 day hoppers, you just have to do so before the end of day 3.
