Buying through Disney and closing date

We purchased directly through Disney and the paperwork has a closing dateof 4/30 just from everyones past experiences did it actually take till the proposed closing date to close or did it happen sooner?

Both my initial one and add on happened sooner, but the first payment date stays the date listed on your paperwork (for financing).

It's really not a big deal when buying direct because you can make a reservation before closing, you can make one as soon as they receive your deposit.

My paper said closing would take place on November 20th or so, but it actually closed at the end of October. It was fast.

The closing date is really just an arbitrary date stating the tentative date that Disney will send your deed to the county for recordation. If you have all of your paperwork in before the closing date, likely the deed will get sent for recording earlier than the stated closing date. Once your contract has "closed," no further changes can be made. Welcome home!
