We are surprising our kids again this year with a trip to Disney. Last time we went, we woke them up the morning of and asked them if they wanted to go. This time we are going with DSIL and her family. I would like to set the kids down together the night before we leave and give them each a package with things in it to let them know we are going. I plan to get them matching shirts, disney disposable cameras, and beach towels. I would also like to give the the older three each a refillable mug and an Epcot passport. Does anyone know if you can buy those at the Disney store or anywhere like that? TIA

There are posts in the creative community with Epcot passports that you can print at home. They are very nicely done. I'm not sure about buying before you arrive.

Perhaps you could give the older ones enough Disney dollars to buy their mugs and a little something extra when they arrive at the resort the next day.

Maybe you could buy them each a set of ears from WDW. You can call WDW Merchandising at (407)363-6200 and order just about anything they have in the stores at the park. CMs are very helpful. :worship:You can describe something and they will search for it, or sometimes they can suggest something. :flower3:I replaced a broken WDW snowglobe that way and they were very nice.

I would think that you could not get a refillable mug that way because you have to be a guest at the participating resort, but who knows.:confused3 You could always ask.

I havent called this number in a few years, but I would think that its the same. If not, just call WDW and ask for the merchandising number and I am sure that they will be happy to assist.

Thanks, I think I will try to call and see what I can find out. I'll be real honest, I have absolutely zero creative/crafting skills. I would rather spend $100 to buy something than to make something for $10. I am just that bad ;)

How many disposable camera are they each getting. You can get them each a photo album.I would get them a regular digital camera instead of disposable cameras

There is a girl on Etsy.com who makes incredible mickey head tye dyes. You can choose the colors and sizes. i loved the one that she made my dd. I forget her name but do a search for mickey tyedye and you will find her!

There are many other designers who make disney related jewelry too.

I have always surprised my daughters with Disney vacations. The first year we went on a Disney Cruise, I had a Mickey gram sent to them. (Do not think they do that anymore). Anyways, It was a Minnie Mouse. When we went on a week long vacation to Disney World I had a Mickey Mouse sent to them from Disney Shopping. I did buy the lanyards and pins from eBay. This year we are going on a Disney Cruise. I am making them a basket of stuff. I bought the towels from Disney Shopping.com when they were having a sale. I find that Disney shopping.com has great sales and promos. Also Walmart is another place I look for Disney Merchandise. You can the Passport for Epcot on Ebay. I also give my girls Disney gift cards, you can also order these off the shopping website.

Oh I almost forgot, we had a last minute trip to DW with my BFF and her girls. I went to the Disney Store found some really cute things.

So far we have matching shirts for the 3 boys and 2 shirts for the girls. (still looking for matching ones for them!) We plan to get them photo albums again, just wanted to let them pick them out when we get there. The reason we are giving them disposable cameras is because they are free when you buy 8 boxes of cereal, (Kellog's I think!) Anyways, I have enough for 1 and almost another. Would really like to get at least 1 more so the three oldest can each have 1, but SIL may have to get one for her DS. (The other 2 kids will only be 17 months and 21 months). I have 2 beach towels for 2 of my kids (Disney store didn't really have one that DS8 would like - I think I will check out WDW merchandising and disneyshopping.com). I am earning giftcards on my reward sites to give the kids for their spending money.I will check out ebay for the passports, never thought about that. I am also gonna check out those Mickey tyedyes too. Thanks for all the great ideas. You guys are the best! Let me know if you think of anything else!

I'm with ya! I see so many things on the creative boards, but sadly, I just can't do any of them. I tried the envelopes and they would not print properly. Go figure!

Yea, my mousekeeping envelopes consist of me writing a note telling them we appreciate them cleaning our room, thanking them, and leaving money on top! :sad2:
