Looking into buying the annual pass with our DVC discount, and I'm having trouble finding the prices on the dvc member site. Allears.net has the price at $452, however I have read on other threads on this board that it is $425. Anyone have a link to an official price list? Is the price the same for both adults and kids? If we wait until arrival to get the tickets, can they be purchased at the regular ticket counters? Wish we hadn't missed out on the $399 PAP!

AllEars prices include the 6.5% Florida tax. $425 is the price before tax.

A New DVC Member Priced AP is $425 for Adults (ages 10+) and Children (ages 3-9).
A New DVC Member Priced PAP is $559 for Adults (ages 10+) and Children (aged 3-9).

You can find the information on the Member Website by go to: Member Extras (drop down menu) > Perks & Discounts > WDW Resort > WDW Resort Annual Pass Savings and More Disney Magic > WDW Annual Pass Savings

I was in the same boat initially, but here was my problem with the PAP. I never will use the extras that come with the PAP vs the regular AP. Had I got the PAP, when it came time to renew, I believe I would have had to renew another PAP (not just a basic AP). So essentially the money I would have saved up front with the sale would have been cancelled out by having to renew another PAP (as opposed to a regular AP) the following year. If you're a PAP user, then no problem. But for me, I don't think this would have been worthwhile.

I cannot confirm 100% that you have to renew a PAP with another PAP. I asked this exact question in a separate post and got very mixed answers. This scared me away from pulling the trigger.

You dont have to renew a PAP. You can renew down to an AP if you want.

Just to clarify, I had no personal experience with this. I just wanted to pass along information that I had received from another discussion thread. I apologize if it is bad information. See post #264, in which a guest asked the same question directly to a WDW cast member when calling Disney directly, and was told that you cannot renew an AP from a PAP:

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2991490&page=18

Many others discounted this occurence, and it seems that they are in the majority. If that is the case, then I wish I would have jumped on the $399 PAP special!

That poster received incorrect information. Many here have been able to change from a PAP to an AP and still pay the renewal price for an AP.

If it will make you feel better, you can PM Cheshire Figment (Guest Services CM with ticketing expertise) - he'll tell you that you can get the renewal price even if you change from a PAP to an AP.

The only time that you can't get the renewal rate is when you go from the Premier Passport that's for both WDW & DL down to a WDW Only AP or PAP.

I'm looking current renewal pricing and I can't find it (or outright purchase prices, for that matter) anywhere on the member site. Obviously, I'm stupid.

I thought I hated the old site. If that was true, I LOATHE the new one.

Do you have to renew before the old one expires? Or can there be gap, like your next trip?

I've got a $50 bill that says there's no pricing on that page or the link to the FAQ, at least not in Chrome or IE10. Wanna take me up on it? :)

Hidden link. Never mind. I'm stupid. I found it. Seems like a redundant link to me. That's why I never saw it. I still say the site is STUPIDLY designed.

If you are just looking for prices, it's faster and easier to just look at the DIS host site, www.wdwinfo.com (no log in needed, and a lots less clicks, LOL).

Here's a direct link for anyone looking right now:

ANNUAL PASS PRICES (tax not included)

:)
Thanks Carol. Go figure that's where the Google search took me. I found it. It just became a GP thing with me. It shouldn't be that hard to find ticket pricing on the darn DVC members' site.
