Buying SSR from Disney

I would like to purchase SSR direct from Disney so that I can use Disney finance. I understand that as it is a sold out resort I may have to go on a waiting list. However, I will have to sign the Disney finance papers whilst out there so would like to do so in January as I am planning a trip.

If I contact DVC sales now and the right number of points and UY that I require comes up before I arrive in Florida will they be able to "hold" that contract for me until I can get there?

Yes, just contact your DVC guide and let him/her know of your plans to be there in January to sign any required documents. They can plan to have everything prepared for your visit.
