Buying resale

DH has a bad case of addonitis.. he's been stalking these boards and other resale sites. He wanted me to ask if anyone on here has had an experience with dvcresales.com before. Any info would be appreciated! You would think our 12 night stay a few weeks ago at AKV would have satisified his Disney thirst for awhile but I am afraid it has just made him want MORE! lol!

We loved AKV last Oct/Nov for our first trip. My DH wil not think of staying at another resort. What did your DH say?? I mean I know he liked it but I just wondered from the male perspective. My DH never gives me the details....he is just packed 2 months before we go.

While I have not used dvcresales, I have used the Timeshare Store - twice and both times they were very professional and attentive. Good Luck!

I think dvcresales is the same as the TimeShare store. TSS's website is dvc-resales.com. We just completed a resale with TSS and it was so easy and painless. We'll definately use them again!

It does sound like your talking about The Timeshare Store although many names are very similar. If it is TTS they are a board sponsor and I have used them and been satisfied.

We also used TTS and were very happy. We only have a very small contract right now and can't wait to add on more in a couple years!!

I think any of them are just as good to work with.
I have used TSS , but have a preference for Shontell at dvcbyresale. I had a contract to selll and she didnt debate my terms with me. the other folks told me what they would sell it for and what they would do. But I have bought and sold with both and would do either if they had a contract i wanted

Well my dh's big plan is so that we have a nice amount of points (right now only 210) so that my 2 daughters will have an equal amount when we are no longer here! He likes the idea of paying for their hotel stay until they are old. I keep telling him that they probably won't keep up the maintenace fees!! lol! They are only 7 and 13 now! Whatever the main plan, I will completely appreciate the points and enjoy using them now!! We just came back from 12 nights at AKV in a studio with a wonderful view. The idea of a one bedroom sounds awesome!!

He liked AKV but 12 nights in a studio and him having the stomach flu the last 2 1/2 days made the trip seem long to him! lol! He loved our view and we had the perfect room as far as location from lobby area and giraffe spotting. He actually wants to add on at OKW with the extended contract. We only visited the resort/pool once but never stayed there. He enjoyed the Jimmy Buffet music, etc. I would like to try a new resort each year just to see which would be my favorite. So far we've only stayed at AKV, SSR and VB. Loved them all for different reasons. Hoping to go to California next spring?!

Ok I am stupid.. my dh informed me that the company he wanted to ask about was in fact dvcbyresale. I see there is another posting on this board as well. I really think he needs to stop lurking on these boards and post himself!! Thanks for all the info. You guys are great. I am sure he is at work right now soaking all this up!

I have never seen any real complaints about DVCbyResale, The Timeshare Store, or **********. We have use Jaki and **** at ********** for two purcahses and everything has gone great. I think if you stick with those 3 you'll be fine.

We used this company when we bought resale a year ago. Jaki and **** are both fantastic. We did not pass ROFR the first attempt and Jaki had two other contracts almost identical to the one we first wanted within hours. We passed without any issue that time. I can not say enough about how great they were to work with.
