Buying Resale Vs. DVC

Thanks for the information. I was debating on points #. Now I think I will just buy less points and use the DVC every other year as opposed to buying more and occassionally trading out.

I would definitely NOT buy DVC points to use for exchanges. If you want to exchange, there are many other timeshares that offer MUCH more than DVC for exchange purposes.
