But perhaps the funniest and strangest thing that was posted was that someone saw a family, sitting on the steps of Town Hall in the MK, eating corn, right out of the can.
Actually, as I recall, that was one of CharlieNJ's fantastic works of fiction. At the time, there was a lot of topics coming and going about whether people sneaking food in the gate to eat for lunch was a violation of Disney rules. It was a silly argument that people got passionate about (kinda like a EBay mug topic, huh?) and it got to the point where people claimed that eating food you smuggled into the park, at a table reserved for a Disney eating establishment was like stealing from Disney.
So, out of the blue one day, comes this post about a lot of commotion at Disney. The post went on to explain that Disney execs were in a panic because a family walked right up and sat on the Town hall steps, and then... then... and then, they pulled out cans of corn and started eating them cold, right out of the can, right there on the Town hall steps!!

OMG! Execs were running everywhere in a panic!! What could they do?!? What if everyone started doing this?!? It could mean disaster for the counter service food establishments!! HORRORS!!!
That's when it took off and formed a life of it's own. I wasn't reading every post at that time (nor do I now

), so Charlie might have gotten the idea from a funniest thing post. I'm not sure about that. I just remember the post when it first showed up and how funny it was as he went into great detail. It was the stuff legends are made out of!
As for me, no corn here. I'll still take an Emu Leg, thank you very much.
