Buying PVB Direct

Is there a site online that shows whats available to reserve within the DVC portals, or do I have to be a member and log in and see afterwards? I guess I want to determine for myself if transferring to RCI or within the 7 month window would work for us.

I don't think that you can see the listings until after you become a member, they probably don't want you to see that is isn't a full RCI list.

You could liason with a current member to get some additional information but you would not have direct access unless a member gave you access to their account.

Looks like we passed on this, as the ppp went up to 168 and I'm not gonna pay more than it was on just Frdiay. My wife and I both got recent promotions, but weve been tied up going through that process (lengthy background investigation with a credit check to boot) so I did not want a credit inquiry while that happened.

What do you think the odds they extend the 165 ppp to me by the members deadline of Dec 3? None?

First, congratulations on your promotions.

There are several stories of people having a contract drawn up weeks/months ago and they delayed sending it back. They decided to sign and send it back, despite being past the 10 days (I believe that is the timeframe they claim). At least in the cases I have heard, they honored the contract.

If you have not had the contract drawn up, you would need to contact Disney to see what they say. They may be willing to honor the price since you initially contacted them before the price increase. Only Disney can answer what their decision is today.

Tell them that you'd buy only at the old price. I guess a magical exception will materialize. If it doesn't work you can always call back later :)
