buying points

Where do we go to buy points? If we are planning a vacation and are, say, 33 pts short, is there somewhere we can go and buy the 33 pts for this one vacation?

Can we then take these 33 pts and add it to our current point total and book a vacation?

I suppose that if you had no points of your own to borrow you could buy more. As long as those new points were available for reservation, you could probably do it.

Most likely you'd have to buy more than 33 points on a re-sale though.

go to the rent/trade board. you may be able to rent points from another member

You can rent points for a one time use. Look at
the Rent/Trade board for more information. Also,
you can pay cash for one or more nights of the
vacation.
