Was just wondering where everyone buys there Disney tickets from ??

I ve read that Hojo sells them & that u can get some great offers if u choose not to buy ur tickets at the Disney gates .

This will be our first visit here so I really appreciate some great advice especially if it saves us a few $$
:thumbsup2

We got ours through last minute travel (LMT as it is called on here). We haven't gotten our vouchers yet, but they usually only email them out a couple week prior.

From what I've read from other people on here, its a great deal. You save a bit of money and the company is very reliable. You can search the forum and find out more :goodvibes

I buy an Eticket from Disneyland.com. You take the emailed ticket for each person directly to the turnstyle, and they scan it and exchange it for a regular ticket. It's really easy, let you bypass the ticket booths and cheaper than buying from the ticket booths.

Do not buy from the ticket booth's. LMT seems to be very popular, we just do E tickets or pay the $5 extra and have the tickets shipped.

This is what we have done several times and it is SO easy.

For those who you have used LMT, do the prices go up as the trip gets closer, of do they stay the same.

So far, this is the cheapest price I have found, but I'm still holding out hope for a better price, but I don't want to miss this.

Thanks!

Ralphs is a good place to get tickets.
I think Safeway or Vons also sells them.
I like the designs, so I always notice them when I'm buying groceries.

Also as mentioned before, AAA if you are a member. I love AAA.

The Disney Store also sells them (or at least the one by my house does)

Anything beats waiting in line at the ticket booth when you're anxious to get in and start your day!

Is this a pretty legit service? I've never heard of them before. Looks like they have some good prices for park tix & airport transfers. Just to make sure I have the right place - their website is lastminutetravel.com - right? Anyone use them for airport transfers or things like that?

Was going to ask this too. Also how do you get your tickets? And do they charge a handling fee?

I think it should be noted that the cheapest way to get a park ticket is through a Disney promotion.

Disney doesn't discount tickets to third party resellers or hotels across the street. Not at DLR or WDW. Some places purchase tickets and then sell them in the future counting on Disney to have raised prices so they can sell them for a little less than disney but still at a profit. You could have done this too.

But Disney does have tickets at a discount to keep you from clogging the ticket booths. Either you buy them online as mentioned this is for people taking trips there. Or you buy them at a local gorcery store, this is for locals going for a day or two.

I used LTM in July for 5 tickets. They saved me a lot of $! They e-mailed confirmation first then voucher to exchange for park tickets at the ticket counters in DL. We got our tickets the day before we went in to the park and it took about 3 min. No wait, no fuss, no problems!

I"m curious just how much do you save? after you spend a bunch of time online, then the email confirmation doesn't come (I've heard of many glitches) then you still have to go to the booth, they have to look up your voucher (sometimes they can't find them) and you end up doing spending more time.
I've just heard that there are so many glitches with these sites and the Cm's at the booths fight it everyday - and the guest blame them because the can't find the vouchers even though the are not disney sites.

I think the best deals are on disney's own website.

So far in my research, the Disneyland website is the highest price, except for the special deal they are running through September. The DL price is about $90 higher, for 4 tix. I think the last place I would book would be Disneyland, unless they run a great special during my trip.

I bought these at LMT for 5 day adult/ $154.00 before the price went up to 190.0 there. It was a great savings compared to Disney's web price. I am going again in Oct with 5 children all at adult prices. For a 5 day @ $190.00 I will save $24 per ticket x 6 tickets. That's a lot of churros!

I didn't spend a lot of time on-line or at the booth getting them exchanged at the park when we got there. Like I said, we exchanged them at the ticket booth (Not the entry turnstyle) and it took about 3 min. The CM had no problem with our voucher.

I am watching LMT to see if the ticket price goes down a bit for fall and if it doesn't, I will purchase them before we go in a few weeks.

Just thought I'd chime in with my LMT experience as well. I bought 3-day hoppers in April for $148. (Wow Karenann* -- I cannot believe your incredible 5-day deal!) Anyway, the prices went up once the summer season hit. I am hoping they go back down this fall. My overall LMT experience was great. I took the vouchers up to the ticket booth (there was no line at all), showed my husband's ID, the CM looked over the voucher, highlighted a number, and handed us our tickets. Extremely quick and easy. I would go that route again to save some $$$.

Yeah, it was a great deal!! Right before they went up to $190 for the summer.
I'm hoping for a better price too, but will be happy with the 190 for Oct since the DL reduced tickets are off at the end of Sept. I did upgrade to deluxe AP for myself and the fee was only $90.00.
