buying park tickets

Personally I would not buy tickets on ebay. A friend bought 4 from there (one person sold them all) and 2 of them had already been used.

I'm a heavy eBay user and that's for sure one thing I WOULD NOT buy on ebay. There was a big thing released by Disney last year after a large number of people purchased tickets on eBay that turned out to be nothing but a piece of paper.
I wouldn't do it. You can easily buy tickets from a hotel near the park which will also win you a lot of time and prevent you waiting in line on site.

i do have non-expiry WDW ticket but are they only vaild for flordia disney or does it work at disneyland too

You can use WDW tickets at DL, but you have to use them one at a time and you have to ask at the turnstile each day to have them set it up for you.

No you cannot use WDW APs at DL or vice versa.

You can use them, as long as they are non expiring tickets you can. You simply take your WDW pass to the turnstiles at the start of each day, the CM will call a manager who will take your passes and remove one day from the WDW pass and issue you a DL ticket.

For discounted tickets you should check out ARES.com or Getawaytoday.com they seem to have good prices.

That's what I thought! I just wish they gave DVC members a discount on reglar tickets, not just the AP's!

I wouldn't buy any tickets on ebay. Period. I know that people sell NFL tickets and stuff but still, the reliable sellers will list on popular 2nd hand sites. Check out mousesavers.com or allears.net they might have a list of places with the best prices or suggest how you could get discounted tickets. Good luck!

You said you had non expring WDW tickets. Right?

You may want to call DL and ask them. WDW may not know because the reverse is not true (in other words, you cannot use DL tickets at WDW). So maybe that is what they thought you were saying when you called WDW.

But pixiewings already explained the process for you at DL.

well i called both disneyland and disneyworld and they both said i cannot use it
the ticket i have is a 10 day park hopper that doesnt expire
i think i used like 4 or 5 days on it
i am going to california july 3 - july 8
i am staying in venice beach
so i plan to take my son to dl one day and to knotts berry farm too
so since he doesnt need a ticket
i will just bring the tickets i have see if they work i hope they do

I don't know who you spoke with at the resorts but you absolutely can use that non expiring WDW ticket at DL. Just do as I said above and you will be just fine.
