buying PAL MICKEY from Ebay

I am thinking of buying a PAL MICKEY from ebay, seems like you can get them a little cheaper, however I was wondering if We should wait because, I heard in may they would have a new one out in may because of the big celebration. also, most of the ones on Ebay say " No Belt CLip" is the belt clip that important???

I am not sure about the new on coming out but the belt clip is not that important. Our belt clip broke so we use a carabiner. It worked just fine.

We did not use the belt clip at all, but a modified key chain clip that held it onto a belt loop much better.

We bought ours last year on EBAY and it was new - never had any problems.

When I made my resort ressie, the CM said that for the May celebration, a new Pal Mickey would be introduced. He's going to be wearing a tuxedo.

He said that he also heard that new "Pals" would be introduded, such as Minnie and Donald.

I have one I would be glad to sell if anyone is interested. I bought two last year when we were there in June for my two boys ages 15 and 11. Well, you can imagine my 15 year-old could not care less about Pal Mickey so I really have no need for two of them. They are in excellent condition, have only been used at the Parks last year from June 12-19 and we DO HAVE THE BELT CLIPS. Please PM me if you are interested.

Not Sure, But from what I understand, to rent him it was 8/day. times just a 5 day trip would be 40.00 plus tax. for only 16.00 more, you could own one rather than rent

If you are going to WDW May 5th or after, I would wait and get one of the new Pal Mickeys, they are an upgraded version. I sold mine old one on eBay last week and I'm gonna use the $$ to buy the new one. Also, when you buy the new one, if you show your AP, you get a special passholder t-shirt for him to wear.

I went to Ebay to see what one of these PALS looked like....a little help please.
Does Pal Mickey just give recorded info that is the same as when it was recorded....or is it somehow able to actually give you information from each new day at a theme park.....the ebay thingie said it told you about 'line lenghts' for rides etc, so that is the reason for my ?.

it actually updates information each day as it enters the parks, it tells you about parade times, good spots to view fireworks, ect. as far as wait times, im not sure......but it does give you updated information each day in each different park.
