Buying organic food online?

Does anyone know of any good websites where you can buy organic food online? I'm specifically wondering about things like meat...is there an organic version of Omaha Steaks for instance? Every time I try to do a web search, I only come up with sites that are in the UK.

I don't know of any in the US. Do you live anywhere near a Whole Foods market, they have excellent organic meats.

Our closest one is about 40 miles away, we just throw an ice chest in the trunk and stock up when we go to San Antonio.

We live near a Wild Oats, and that's where we grocery shop. Their meat counter is so much more hit-or-miss than the Whole Foods near my old house, though. That place had a much better selection. I can get pretty much everything we need at Wild Oats, with the exception of a reliable and varied supply of organic meat. That's why I was wondering if there was a website where I could just order the organic meat to be delivered.

try www.unitedbuyingclubs.com and see if there is a local co-op you can join.
Also if you have a large famers market nearby check with them. You might be able to find a local farm you can buy from directly. We recently found a local farmer that we bought 1/4 a calf from. It isn't certified organic, but is very close.

Unfortunately my state doesn't appear to have any buying clubs That's too bad...that idea looked promising. My Wild Oats stocks a good supply of Applegate Farms stuff, so I'm all set there...the Ozark link didn't look like an estore. Do they actually sell online? It looked like they just sold from their store in Arkansas.

Cool I'm going to check those out. I'm determined to find a way to get some variety in our organic meat supply...my poor DH must be getting mighty sick of dinners made from frozen ground beef or frozen chicken breasts, LOL!
