It's hard for me to put into words...

Each trip we take is a magical and relaxing vacation. When we drive through the entrance gates to WDW, a big smile appears on my face. Despite what some say about WDW not being what it used to be, I still think Disney provides great customer service. If anything goes wrong, they've always gone above and beyond to make things right. We enjoy each of our four home resorts immensely, we enjoy dining out every night at a nice TS (typically Signature dining), and we manage to hit the parks and DTD as well.

YES!!! just take # points X price and that's it!! Again--it must be your UY, but it can be ANY DVC resort--if they don't have it, you can go on a waiting list--usually takes a few months tops, even for the hard ones--but SSR should be instant.

Even if your addon is at one of the newest resorts (AKV now, something else in the future)? And not a small number, say something like 250, as long as the UY is the same? If there are add-on incentives do you still get them if you a making a large add-on purchase (ie an amount that would normally be someones initial purchase)?

If you go with a different UY, would you get the add-on current incentive or the current min-buyin rules/incentives?

I have 175 points at VWL that I can book at the 11-mo window, 165 points at BCV that I can book at the 11-mo window, 120 points at BWL that I can book at the 11-mo window, and 210 points at AKV that I can book at the 11-mo window.

Since I go 4 times a year and I want to stay at a different resort each trip, and since I always book at the 11-mo window, I am never disappointed. I always get the room I want, where I want, when I want. That's why I own at my four favorite DVC resorts.

Do you have the same March UY for all your different resorts? I have read different opinions on the pros and cons of having differnt use years for different resorts. What is your opinion on having the same or different use years and the best use year timing to choose? Thanks

I have the same March UY for all my points. I just find it simpler.

You want a UY month that begins on or shortly before the period in which you plan to take vacations. However, it really is only important if you ever decide to cancel a vacation.
