Buying magicbands off site guest

We going to disney in September iv just read off site guest can now buy the bands then get them linked up to they tickets we also got memory maker thinking we do this as I think it be much easier then keep getting tickets & photo card out every time we want photo also husband be going on rides without me so be easy for him to just scan the band to get photo iv set up my disney experience and husband linked to. Do think it's a good idea to get the bands when we there we don't mind paying the $13 each for them.

If you're getting the MM then it'd be good to probably have the bands, that'll link alongside your tickets and you can also sort out your FP+'s 30 days out, which will also link to your bands.

If you don't mind paying for them, then it say go for it Have a fab trip!

As others have said, if you're happy to pay for the bands, it will make things a lot more convenient when it comes to Memory maker, if you split up on rides.

They sell them inside all the parks.

You can also buy them at Downtown Disney and the Ticket and Transportation Center.
