Buying Magic Bands For Off Site Guests?

Four of our 11 are staying at Board Walk and already have MBs, the other 7 are off site. I'm the only one with a MDE account, they're all Friends&Family, I gave the adults my username and password. Can the off site guests by MBs that will work in place of their plastic UT park passes and if so, where and for how much?

Yes. Retail MagicBands start at 12.99 for solid colors. They can be purchased at many Disney owned retails locations. The Shop Disney Parks mobile app will show you where specific MagicBands should be available for purchase at WDW.

We are staying off site and just bought them from disneystore.com. At first I was not going to use them but then we decided with having to use a DAS and fast pass it might be easier to not have to get out park tickets every time

They buy them and link to their MDE account which takes less than a minute.

The plain colors are $12.95 and the price goes up as you get into the limited editions and designs. And at a couple locations you can custom make your own magic band (and phone case)

I wish I knew the store (it was not on disney property), but maybe someone else can chime in. My sister in-law found special 2015 magic bands for about $3 each. They were marked down because it was the middle of 2016... So if they aren't picky, they might find a bargain basement deal on magic bands.
